Biographical Info

The Interagency Modeling Atmospheric Assessment Center (IMAAC) is a 24/7 federal resource that can assist state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency management/public safety/public health agencies with free-of-charge decision support for WMD events or large-scale hazardous releases. IMAAC staff are highly trained scientists/modelers who use the most sophisticated software and databases available to produce critical decision-making information, including health and population effects estimates. With sufficient advanced notice (typically 30 days), IMAAC can also assist agencies with the development of materials for plans, training, and exercises involving WMD and HazMat.
